Baby Dedication - Liam

Happy Mother's Day!

Today was the baby dedication at our church for all of the babies born in the past year.

Sweet Liam and his daddy.

The families with new babies gathered at the front and we prayed and sang over the babies.

I sang a blessing song written by our children's pastor, John.  

I was glad to be able to sing at Liam's baby dedication, since I sang at Finn's.

Liam really wanted the microphone. It was very, very sweet.

I wrote some additional words for the song, and I sang those today.

the words:

The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing" (Zephaniah 3:17).

To bless this world

To show the lost

The ways of the King

You were born

To give your heart

To the One who creates,

The One who sings:

Of your Father in heaven.

Resting on you now

We lift up our hands

Today God’s holy plan

is revealed in you

We rejoice with the Father

As He sings:

Dedicated  from your birth.”

Chorus 3            Your name will be His song

Your face, His delight

His kingdom is your home.

His seal is on your heart

You have been set apart

And He calls you His own.
