Memorial Day Swim

Can you read what it says on Finn's shirt? You might have to zoom in.

It says, "Pinchy McFinnegan's Crab Shack".

Try not to die from the cuteness.
Also, there are lobsters on his shorts.

On Memorial Day (the occasion for the Pinchy McFinnegan t-shirt) we had a cookout with our home group over at Jay and Kathy's. It was Finn's first time swimming.

It was also our first time to get to buy swim gear for the little man. Can you tell?

Here is grillmaster Jay, cooking up some delicious hamburgers.

And here we are in the pool, the Whitey McWhitersons.
You may need to shield your eyes from the glare off our skin.

(Please note that I am wearing the extra modest "church/inlaw" swimsuit known as "Big Green",
since this was a church party.)

And here's my friend Micaela, who just had a totally awesome Hannah Montana party for her sixth birthday. I wish I had a picture of that, because it was something else.

Finn had a hat just like daddy and he wore it all day. He was very proud.
