Tonight J and Finn were "hiding" around the corner of the kitchen while I was loading the dishwasher. They would peek around the corner of the kitchen door, then "hide" when I looked up. Finn thought this was a riot. In fact, Finn got so excited that whenever they would start to peek around the corner, he would laugh very loudly. And then he would pass gas even louder.
Needless to say, he is not exactly stealthy. Not ninja material. But we were laughing so hard I almost dropped the dishes on the floor.
He also likes to hide around the corner of his crib and peek out. And today he discovered that he could play peek-a-boo all by himself. Well, not all by himself, obviously, but I mean that he could operate the burp cloth mechanism himself.
Developmental child psychologists and pediatricians would call this video "Developing Concepts of Object Permanence", but you can just call it "Peek-a-Boo".
