It's a boy!

We had our 20 week sonogram today, and guess what? It's a boy! My first thought was, "oh, good, he can wear those brown shoes."

Because you see, we bought some lovely and orthopedically correct and expensive brown shoes for Finn, which he refuses to wear. If I try to put them on him, he says "No way!" (one of his few phrases) and then goes and gets his blue adidas and brings them to me. Because his blue adidas are clearly cooler than his brown shoes.

So yes, I'm excited that we'll have someone to wear the brown shoes. At the same time I hate for the new little guy to always have hand-me-downs. But technically, the brown shoes are brand new, never worn. Is that still a hand-me-down? I'm not sure.

Oh, by the way, we don't have a name picked out yet. We were waiting until after the sonogram to get serious about the whole name thing.

* by the way: the reason you haven't seen any pictures lately is because my lens broke. It is still under warranty (free!), but to get it repaired takes 4-6 weeks. My dad brought me a couple of extra lenses this weekend (thanks dad!), so as soon as I figure out how to manually light meter, we will be good to go with more pics on the blog. thanks for your patience!
